What metal is EcoDunia jewelry made from?

Every piece is made from solid, 100% recycled brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, handcrafted by artisans in Kenya. Some designs also feature natural accents that are horn. We leave our brass in its natural state, with no plating or coating, so you’re wearing real metal.
How do I clean my brass jewelry?

Everyday shine: Buff gently with a soft polishing cloth for a minute. This is usually all your piece needs.

Deeper clean, for all-brass pieces:

  • Mix lemon juice with a pinch of salt or baking soda into a paste.
  • Apply it with a soft cloth or soft toothbrush.
  • Let it sit for 1–2 minutes.
  • Rinse with warm water.
  • Dry completely and buff to a shine.

Pieces with horn: Don’t soak them or rinse them under running water. Clean only the brass with a polishing cloth, and wipe the horn with a dry, soft cloth.
