What metal is EcoDunia jewelry made from?

All EcoDunia jewelry is made from solid recycled brass and finished with a nano ceramic e-coating.  Not gold-plated. Some pieces are inlaid with bone, horn, or soapstone.
Is EcoDunia jewelry tarnish-resistant?

Our jewelry is solid, natural brass with no plating or coating, so instead of resisting change, it ages beautifully. Over time, brass develops a warm patina, a deeper antique golden tone shaped by your skin, your climate, and how you wear it. That’s the beauty of natural brass: no two pieces age the same way. Love the vintage look? Just keep wearing it. Prefer a bright finish? A quick buff with a polishing cloth brings back the original golden glow in minutes. Storing each piece in its pouch and keeping it dry helps it stay bright longer.
 Is EcoDunia jewelry waterproof?

No. Like all natural, uncoated brass, our jewelry is happiest when it’s kept dry. Water, especially chlorinated pool water, salt water, and soapy water, speeds up the patina process. For the longest-lasting glow, take your pieces off before showering, swimming, washing dishes, or working out. If your jewelry does get wet, simply pat it dry with a soft cloth. A little care like this keeps your brass looking beautiful for years
