Why Fair Trade Tea Towels
We created EcoDunia because we were frustrated by generic mass-production where all profits go to shareholders and mega-factory owners.
We spent three years building our own artisan workshops to become the standard for great design, everyday quality, and ethical production. Our embroidered cotton tea towels are made from Kenyan-grown cotton, then sewn and stitched by Fair Trade-certified artisans.
Equal parts functional and beautiful, they bring warmth and artisan craft to any kitchen and make exceptional handmade kitchen gifts for the home.
Offer FAQs
How does the offer work?
Add 4 tea towels from the same collection, birds or African wildlife, and you pay for 3. That's 4 towels for $66 instead of $88, and shipping is free.
Can I mix designs?
Yes, within a collection. Pick any 4 bird designs, or any 4 wildlife designs. Birds and wildlife are separate collections, so the offer counts each one on its own.
Do I have to buy 4?
No. One towel is $22 and two are $44. The free towel and free shipping start at 4.
What material are the tea towels made from?
Our tea towels are made from Kenyan cotton, soft, absorbent, and built to hold up through regular kitchen use. They get better with every wash.
Are the tea towels machine washable?
Yes. Machine wash on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. No dry cleaning needed.
Who makes the tea towels?
Each tea towel is handmade and embroidered by Kenyan artisans in our own Verified Fair Trade workshop, using cotton from small-scale farmers.
