Umbo is an open brass cuff ring with two smooth, symmetrical petal faces sitting side by side on the band, organic and sculptural, with the presence of a statement ring and the wearability of an everyday piece. The paired petal forms give it a double petal ring quality that’s more refined than a typical cocktail ring. Cast from a sand mold rather than stamped from sheet metal, which is why every piece has a surface character you won’t find in mass production.
Finished with a nano-ceramic e-coat over solid recycled brass, with superior durability and resistance to water, sweat, and tarnishing built in. An invisible protective shield you wear, not a coating you see.

What's the metal?
Solid brass with a nano ceramic e-coat for protection. Genuine, not plated.
Will it tarnish?
Highly tarnish resistant. The nano ceramic e-coating shields the brass from air and moisture that cause oxidation.
Will it turn my finger green?
No. The e-coating creates a barrier between brass and skin, preventing discoloration — and makes the piece hypoallergenic and nickel free, safe for sensitive skin.
Is it waterproof?
Water resistant, not waterproof. Fine for daily wear and hand washing. Remove before swimming or soaking to protect the coating long-term.
What happens over time?
Over time, the coating may gradually wear thin — revealing the brass's own warm natural patina, a beautiful evolution that's unique to your piece. Prefer the original shine? A soft cloth polishes it back in seconds.
